My name is Kirsten Swanson. I’m originally from Lynbrook, New York, and now live in Downers Grove with my husband, Tom, and our three children—Brian, Drew, and Kacie—and our lovable golden doodle, Kloie.

I’m the proud owner of Kindly Social, where we help bring celebrations to life with balloons, photo booths, rental décor, yard signs and so much more—including our charming event space in Downers Grove.

This business is truly a dream come true. When I was 15, my mom and I spent months planning my Sweet 16, designing every detail to make our guests feel happy, included, and special. She passed away before the event, but her dedication to making others feel loved left a lasting impression on me. Years later, when my son’s birthday party was canceled during the pandemic, I wanted to give him that same feeling of joy and celebration. From that moment, Signs & Love was born—and today, it has grown into Kindly Social.
